Yesterday, Sandpiper Swim School joined more than 800 facilities in 23 different countries, as an official host location for the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson! In order to qualify our facility as a World Record Breaker, we had to have at least 25 participants. We had 33 participants!
An article in OC Register yesterday really showed how critical it is for kids to learn how to swim, especially if there’s a pool in their backyard. According to the article, there have already been 16 drowning calls so far this year, 8 of those fatal…and it’s not even summer yet! Please sign your kids up for swimming lessons!
